Recently the Greater Melbourne Police Athletic League’s Bantam’s Football Team earned their position at the national championships located in Daytona during Thanksgiving weekend. With six wins and only one loss this season the team has displayed an enriched commitment to the game and to themselves.

As described on the Melbourne PAL website, the PAL is a youth crime prevention program that utilizes educational, athletic and recreational activities to create trust and understanding between officers and youth.

It is based on the conviction that young people – if they are reached early enough – can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey through life toward the goal of maturity and good citizenship. 

Amped Media combine with several other reputable affiliate networks donated toward the cause in light of financial hardship by the team and of the teams families.

We wish the team the best of luck at the national championships. We know that with the diligent effort they have shown thus far, the team will reign victorious.
